Little Flower offers private and small group classes for kids and families that address the needs and interests of your child. Our teachers have experience working with various types of physical, emotional and learning related challenges. Yoga helps children of all ages feel great, stay healthy and connect with their tremendous capacity for joy.

Private Childrens’ Class

A personal yoga journey for one or more students of any age, private classes can be designed to meet your child’s needs, whether that means incorporating literacy skills into class, developing a greater ability to focus, or just having fun and relieving stress. Private classes are also available for children with special needs.

Family Class

Yoga is a great way for a family to bond, and is also a great equalizer. Your children will love helping you work on poses that come easily and naturally to them! Family classes include yoga poses that are accessible to students of all ages, and also emphasize group and partner poses.

Parent and Child Class

Work one on one with your child of any age (infants to teens) in a class designed to meet the needs of both parent and child, while strengthening the bond between them. These classes are deeply nurturing and relaxing for both participants, as well as being a lot of fun.

Pre and Post Natal Class

Yoga provides many benefits, both physical and emotional, during and after pregnancy. Little Flower Yoga offers private classes that are supportive and respectful of the changes that your body is going through.

Adult Classes

Guided by the belief that children cannot grow to their full potential unless the adults around them are healthy and calm, Little Flower Yoga offers private adult yoga sessions for all students, including absolute beginners. With personalized class design, your physical, mental, and emotional goals will all be addressed.

Mindful Moments Summer Program: August 2014 (Ages 5-10)
Program Information: Each week-long session incorporates yoga, mindfulness, games, art, acro-yoga, music, and movement. The perfect blend of relaxation and fun! 

Session Dates: 

August 4th - August 8th
August 11th - August 15th
August 18th - August 22nd
August 25th - August 29th

Times: Monday-8:30a-11:30a

Teen Mindfulness & Yoga Intensive (Grades 9-12) 

August 25th- August 29th (Monday-Friday from 3:00p-6:00p)

The teen years are some of the most stressful. Up to 70 percent of teens say they're stressed out, and with pressure about grades at school, parents who just don't seem to get it, and friends who drive them crazy, it's no wonder. In this 5-day training, teens will learn simple mindfulness-based strategies for getting stress under control, building the skills needed to deal with problems and difficult feelings that life brings teens in high school and beyond.

This course is designed to help high school age teens see their lives with greater clarity, creativity, kindness and compassion.

In this course teens will:

  • Try meditation, which is not "emptying your mind" but learning to pay attention and relate more skillfully to what's going on right now in the mind and body.
  • Talk about how to let go of self-criticism and judgment, and how to be with emotional and physical pain without adding to it.
  • Have the opportunity to think about the real pressures they face daily, and how yoga and mindfulness practices can assist not just in stress management, but help to create moments of calm and happiness.
  • Learn simple yoga routines to help teens reduce stress, sleep better, and be more at ease in the body.
