With over twenty years of experience in the yoga industry, Tricia has received extensive training on children and adult styles of yoga and mindfulness, meditation, pre-natal, restorative, yin, yoga therapy and trauma informed yoga.

Now as a resource in the world of wellness and with over two decades of teaching and coaching experience, Tricia’s passion is working with kids and her passion is empowering children with special needs.  She has experience working with varieties of diagnosis such as anxiety, Sensory Processing Disorder, learning and developmental disabilities, ADD/ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and physical disabilities.  She also provides mindfulness support groups, trainings and continuing educational workshops for parents, caretakers and professionals.

Tricia believes that yoga is an incredible vehicle that helps people to connect to the body, the mind, and the breath and restores balance within.  “When children apply these techniques and when we help them to practice in a nurturing, safe and fun way, balance is restored and they can grow up with life-skills that our forever useful.  They are able to cultivate a stronger sense of self, physically and mentally.  They are able to develop their mind and concentration, nourish compassion, kindness, love, build confidence and move from these places with and from their own developing inner-strengths.”

Tricia is an active member of the Yoga Service Council and a member of the International Yoga Therapy Association (IYTA).  She has a degree in Sociology, with a concentration in Child Psychology, and a minor in Marketing.  Presently, Tricia is working towards her Master’s Degree in Psychology at the University of Connecticut.
